Appointment Scheduling

All scheduling is done on a first come first served basis. We do not bump scheduled customers. We realize your time is important and the only time we will reschedule your appointment is due to inclement weather or an emergency that does not allow our technicians to be present at work.

If you have an emergency we will do our best to fit you in ASAP. There may be an additional charge due to overtime pay for the crew. We highly recommend inspections for real estate sales are scheduled before the home is under agreement, ideally before it is listed for sale.

Pricing

Our policy is upfront pricing, so call us with your situation and we will quote you as accurately as possible how much you can expect to pay for our various services. Pricing is based on the following factors: materials, labor for the necessary number of technicians to provide professional service and get to your job and the next job on time, costs to comply with federal, state, and local regulations, liability and workmen’s comp insurance, health insurance costs, fuel and maintenance for vehicles, time spent traveling to and from jobs, and the fees associated with renewal of certifications and licensing through continuing education.

Falmouth Chimney Sweep fully guarantees all of our labor. If you have a problem with any work performed by us, we will work out a solution to your satisfaction. Quite simply, the best advertisement for our business is a happy customer.

Falmouth Chimney Sweep honors all manufacturer warranties. We stand behind all of the products we use and can furnish you with copies of the warranty info for your records upon request.

Estimates

Free Estimates are seldom free. Regardless of what you are being told, the cost of the time to put together a free estimate is always built into the price.

At Falmouth Chimney Sweep we are dealing with venting systems with significant safety factors involved. Liability issues now require us to do an inspection of any chimney system that we are being asked to evaluate for repair. If you do not need a sweep, we will do a full written inspection of your system, inside and out, and generate a separate proposal for repairs based on the results of the inspection. We will provide pictures with the proposal. Under many circumstances we can reduce the inspection fee if we perform the needed repairs. Please call the office for information regarding this policy.

Payment for Services Rendered

Falmouth Chimney Sweep accepts cash, checks, and all major credit cards. We are happy to invoice you for services. You will have 30 days from the date of service to remit your payment. We are also willing to work out payment plans for repair work on an individual basis. Please contact us for details.
